My name is Peter Maczuzak and I'm a third-year industrial design student at The Ohio State University.
I found my knack for design by questioning things, a curiosity for why systems are constructed the way they are and products work the way they do. As some questions were answered, more became complex and I grew up learning design can be a catalyst for social change and innovation.
This principle informs my design approach, prioritizing the role of function and the specific needs it addresses, whether it's aiding efforts in sustainability or offering a moment of levity.
Design extends its reach in many places. Being the youngest of five, my passion is driven by the examples set by my family, whom I've watched go through life crafted with compassion and dedication.
I hope to carve a similar path, though it may look more like the Newman Design Squiggle as I'll continuously keep asking questions to expand my outlook on the world and better myself as a designer.
