Project Context
Brief
The goal of this project is to create a system of tools that are designed to be shared. Product Design will be useful to inform users on how to properly use the tools. This will be tested in a hammer following a class-collaborated VBL of IKEA and Duracell.
Design Considerations
Balancing durability and lightweight design, accommodating diverse users, ensuring intuitive use through design, maintaining a cohesive IKEA-Duracell aesthetic, and enabling easy cleaning and maintenance.

In addition to their hammer, students had to integrate their design into a tool on a larger scale. To focus on transferring aesthetic and shared function of use, we were to collage existing products to develop the form first.
